FAQ

These are some of our most asked questions. If you don't find the answers you're looking for here then please feel free to drop a line.

  • What exactly does your company do?
Our company specializes in video and film production, but also does photography as well. We’re involved in everything from start to finish. That includes everything from concept creation, to location and talent scouting, writing, shooting, editing, and motion graphics. During the process we stay in close communication with our clients. We want to make sure they know exactly what’s going on every step of the way.
  • How long does a video or film shoot take?
It varies greatly. For videos we can typically get most things shot in one day. Some things only take a few hours and sometimes shoots can happen throughout the course of a few days. Film production, on the other hand, can last for weeks or months. You will be given an estimate of this time once we’ve sat down to discuss the project. What I can tell you is this, everyone’s time is precious and we take that into consideration on every shoot. We make sure that the day (or days) is planned out to the last detail, an agenda is given to everyone, and that we stick to the schedule.
  • How long until I receive my completed project?
That depends on how much video was shot and how long you’d like the video to be. If there are several days of shooting it will take a few days to go through all the video to pick out the best content. For video projects we typically try to get the project back to the client for review in about a week. Then you can decide whether any changes need to be made. Depending on the level of changes needed it can take up to 3 days to get the final cut back to you. Film projects take more time and it may be one or two months after shooting before we can send a rough cut. Clients are allowed 1 project revision, if more is wanted there is an extra charge.
  • Do I have a say in the editing process?
Absolutely! Some of our clients are very hands on when it comes to choosing shots and I welcome that. Other clients prefer to let us do our magic and give full license to do things as we see fit. It all depends on the level of involvement you want to have. If you have any suggestions or think things can be done better we want to hear it. Let’s create together!
  • Can I get a combination of video and photography services?
Yes, of course! In fact, we do that quite often during events, corporate, and non-profit shoots. This is a great way to gather a lot of content for your branding materials, website, and social media all in one fell swoop.
  • How much does a video or film project cost?
That’s a very good question that can be tough to answer. Project cost can vary greatly depending on the level of production you’re looking for. If more crew or equipment is needed then there will be an added investment. I suggest we sit down and have a conversation to discuss your budget and goals for the final product.
